Premier League Club 'Going Crazy' to Sign Harry Kane Next Summer

Harry Kane could be on the move next summer.

A Premier League club are 'desperate' to sign Harry Kane next summer, according to stunning reports.

Kane has enjoyed an ultra-prolific spell at Bayern Munich following his move from Tottenham.

He has scored an impressive 107 goals in 111 games across all competitions and inspired his side to Bundesliga glory last season.

But his future has been clouded by uncertainty ever since a report in Germany shed light on his £56.7 million release clause, which could be activated next summer.

According to a new report from Spanish outlet SPORT, Kane is already considering his options, with a move to Barcelona mooted.

Barca are plotting a move for a high-level No.9 to replace Robert Lewandowski and given the 32-year-old's track record, he fits the bill.

But the club's pursuit of Kane depends on their finances.

The Catalan giants are dreaming of Julian Alvarez, but he would command a monstrous transfer fee.

Kane is viewed as a cheaper alternative given his release clause.

But Barca face competition from Spurs, who are 'desperate' to bring the England star back to North London.

Kane spent 13 years at Spurs, scoring a staggering 280 goals but failed to win a trophy during his time at the club.

The report claims Spurs will be in the mix should Kane decide to leave Bayern at the end of the season.

Thomas Frank says Harry Kane 'more than welcome' back at Tottenham

Spurs boss Thomas Frank was asked about Kane when his release clause emerged.

Frank said he would like to see Kane back at Spurs but admits he doesn't expect him to leave Bayern any time soon.

"He is an unbelievable player who did fantastic for Spurs and is doing fantastic for Bayern. Top player. I think there’s a lot of Tottenham fans, including myself, who would like to see Kane back," he said.

"Personally, I don’t think he will do it right now if I’m honest. He’ll probably stay in Bayern and continue performing well. He was top scorer last year, won the championship and he’s doing fantastic now."

Kane will have one year left on his existing deal when his release clause becomes active.
